Dotticures are fun, and simplest ever way to do a manicure. You don't even need to have a real tools, you can use the toothpick, bobby pin, even tip of the pencil dipped into the nail polish.
Dotticure was one of the first nail art techniques I tried way back... we are talking 10-15 years back. I used toothpick, that I wold cut in half and used that thicker part for the bigger dots, and would dot the flowers on my nails.
Thing is, you can use dots to decorate your nails, but also you can decorate your phone case, or do mandala art on the paper or on the rock, using not just nail polish but acrylic paint too.
Just to say, this manicure looked so much better in my head. Turned out that I do not have as much nail surface as I thought I do. LOL!
I started with super pretty Cirque Colors - Stoneware.
This one applies nicely, and on the swatch above, I am wearing 2 coats and no top coat.
On my index finger, I stamped a face from the random little plate I purchased ages ago at AliExpress.com.
Then using the colors of the rainbow (and in the same order) I started dotting the polishes using few different sizes of dotting tool.
When I was happy - well more or less happy, I used a small brush to add a little bit of white in the bigger dots to make them look more like a bubbles... again, this looked so much better in my head. LOL!
Dotticure is a perfect way to calm yourself, and does not require any special tools, even though it is so much easier when you have them.
Now, I did add the link for the dotting tool set in the store, and you are more than welcome to use my discount code SANJA10 to save 10% off of your purchase.
