I received unicorn plate ND-021.
As a base I used La Femme - Preciosa, and precious it is.
Decal making is not really my favourite... my eyes are not as good as they were, and if I even color in between the lines, I have no patience waiting for decals to dry out, so I smudge them or ruin in every possible way.
Luckily that did not happen here. I found that decals stick better if I use sticky base coat over my base color, so dry decal have something to stick on.
I usually make my decals on my clear stampers, and I used one that I shown you yesterday for all review manicures. Being on the stamper helps with positioning, and making sure that I will not stretch or make any folds in decals...
That said, I was pretty good with waiting on my decals to dry, and everything was peachy until I used my top coat. This is not my usual top coat, but I had it for a while and wanted to use it, but it would smudge my stamping every. single. time! I should just cut my losses and chuck the looser, but thrifty me just want to use up the bottle. I think that practical me is getting to be winner here.
For picking up of the images I used DRK Nails - Extra Black, and I colored in with quite a few polishes, none of which - except for a white, was used in any bigger quantity. White is Jessica - Sharktooth.
Very cute plate for any unicorn lover there. Great quality and has pretty collection of different images for a such a small plate.
