When we moved in this house, there were three different kinds of irises here: white, peach and purple. Each one of them would bloom at the different times, so I would have a different color display for extra few days or weeks, depending on the weather. Then I had a brilliant idea to move the purple one closer to white and peach, and to my biggest dismay, they all turned purple. I guess purple was dominant, and the other two just followed the suit. Don't get me wrong, I love my purple irises, but I also loved those other two, as I never seen those particular colors anywhere!
Today, I am wearing another new to me brand, Moon Shine Mani - Pyramid of the Moon.
I have a weakness for unusual colors, and as soon I seen this one, I knew I have to have it.
Pea soup jelly base have lots of going on - matte white glitters, emerald green metallic glitters, and color shifting gold to red micro flakies.
On the swatch above, I am wearing 2 coats and no top coat. I was so pleasantly surprised how leveled this polish stayed despite all that is happening there, there is no shrinkage of the base with drying. Love it.
Image of the choice was on Maniology - M066 stamping plate. I picked up the image with my current favorite Maniology - Straight-Up Black stamping polish. I colored in the image, and after decals were dry to touch, I simply stamped them onto my nails.
I purchased both of those myself, but you can save 10% by adding my discount code SANJA10 on the checkout at maniology.com. I added all the links for you convenience.
I set my heart on irises, even though there was little color contrast here. I fixed this by adding a thin layer of sheer white polish to lighten up a base a bit.
I absolutely loved this manicure glossy, as I love the vibrant colors. Some of you may wonder how would this look when matted, so for the last photo, I added a matte top coat.
My matte top coat of the choice is Lucky 13 Lacquer - We're all matte here.
Enjoy your day.
Cheers!
