Having a doctor's appointment later today, so totally not looking forward to that, but to hopefully nice weekend. I have so many projects planned for the Spring, big and small, and honestly, I can't wait to start them, no matter how scary some of them are.
Until that happens, I will day dream and gaze at the stars with every opportunity.
I love galaxy nails, but more often than not I think I just try to fit as much as possible on my nails, with questionable results. This time I tried with less-is-more approach, but once again, I was hard to stop. At least I was not super colorful this time. LOL!
My pretty base is by China Glaze - IDK, which came out couple of years ago. I got the whole collection in a super cute mini bottles, and I am still trying to swatch/wear them all...
Over that, I dabbed Glam Polish - Dark Wings, Dark Words in diagonal direction. Usually I start with dark and try to add light, but have to admit, I loved the depth I achieved by reversing those two colors. Who knew. Also, the scattered glitters in the Dark Wings, Dark Words are acting as a distant stars, which also helped immensely.
Using the B. Loves Plates - B. a Snowman, I picked up the image from Kads Nature 042 stamping plate. I was sure I was done here... I love how those stars almost disappear on some angles, and are back on on the others.
Then I decided to add few star flares from Maniology - M024 stamping plate, using Maniology - Bam! White.
Now I was done. I loved this understated look more than I thought I would, and I loved wearing it couple of days ago.
I thought I would just do nails here and there until they grow a little, but I am not waiting for anything. Life is too short for the bare nails, and I love to see mine polished and pretty.
Have a great Friday everyone!
Cheers!
