I hope you are all doing well. I skipped couple of days this week, as all that is happening around us is so overwhelming, by the end of the day, I am mentally, emotionally and physically drained.
Yesterday, I came home from work and chopped my nails, filed them down and just did a base coat before just crushing in the bed...
This morning, with no make up, and just a base coat on my nails, I reached for the door handle... In the end, I could not be that radical, and with the jacket and shoes on, I quickly applied coat of pretty polish, as I could not go totally colorless out of the house to brave the eerie city streets with occasional car... it is just too depressing...
So here I am, pulling out of the vault pretty manicure to cheer me up, even though I do have quite a few reviews all ready to go... ah well, that will happen eventually...
As a base, I used one of the pretty speckled polishes I purchased at Born Pretty Store what seems to be in a different lifetime...
Polish is named Promise, and just name is what we need at this moment. Promise of the better days ahead of us.
It seems that I deleted the swatch photo at some point, and you will have to take my word for it, this grape colored polish with a black flecks is so pretty in person.
It was on the sheer side though, and it took 3 coats to a full opacity. Polish dried to a glossy finish.
Images I picked are on Uber Chic - 12-01 stamping plate.
This one did not came out the way I expected it, but in the same time, I did not hate it. It just evolved in different direction.
For stamping I used Konad - Black and Essie - Good as Gold.
Thumb and ring finger also have a layer of yellow stamping that I almost managed to completely cover.
Take care, wash your hands often, stay several feet away from each other, and best you can do is to stay at home. That is sure way that you will not bring anything back to your family.
Be safe, and stay safe.
