Traditionally, St. Patrick's celebrates beginning of the Christianity in Ireland, and it is the day of the saint's death.
Everyone likes it for the different thing, and I like it because all the green associated with it reminds me of the Spring that is around the corner. I am also sucker about the legends and mythical creatures such as Leprechauns, also present in the celebrations.
There is the myth about the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow... I never came across one, so I can't confirm or deny the truth about it.
This is all abut that elusive pot of gold, but totally simplified.
Pretty hunter green is by Dimension Nails - Amazonian Manatee. I thought it would be nice background for this manicure, especially because all of the rumors that Leprechauns wear suits in very similar color...
On middle two fingers I used my franken sheer nude to even out the nail tone, then I stuck on the glitters, and over I painted the iron pot overfilled with the "gold coins".
In the end I stamped the words found on Uber Chic - Uber Mini St Patrick's Day 4 stamping plate. I wanted little bit of the contrast here, so I stamped first with Maniology - Bam! White, and then using the Amazonian Manatee.
All was topped with glossy top coat, as those gold coins needed to shine. LOL!
I really love to play with the glitters, and this was the perfect opportunity to use some of the loose glitters I have in abundance.
As always, I am wishing you a great day.
Cheers!
