I will use it further down in the month, so stay tuned.
Instead of the gel gradient, I have something abstract, but color just spoke to me.
Few months ago I made a decent order from Lakodom - Russian exchange, and aside from some selected Masura polishes, I ordered some brands that are new to me.
Today I am wearing one of those. My bright base is Koroleva - Kitchen is new office, from the collection that was inspired by pandemic.
I have a taste for colors that may not be everyone's cup of tea, and this is one of them. Mustardy yellow with dash of green is totally the color I would go for.
It had nice formula and it was fully opaque in 2 coats.
Thing is, I got a scrub in this color combo, even the design was similar, so I enjoyed wearing them together.
Image is on Hit the Bottle - Material World 01, stamped with black and white. This manicure carried a little bit of calamity from yours truly... I dropped open bottle of the white polish, and I managed to splash it all over me, and over my floor. I remembered hack I seen on line, and I ran into the kitchen for some sugar - apparently if you pour crystal sugar over the spilled polish, leave it for minute, it will absorb the polish, and you would be able to sweep it away. It worked pretty well, but I was a nerve wreck, and I swept it too soon, so I did have little smudge on my hardwood flooring. In any case, any other way of the pick up of the white polish would result in more than a little smudge. I am so glad that hack actually worked, so I am passing it on to you.
Now, I know this is a stretch, but this abstract design made me think of popcorn chains. If you are creative, you can tie them so they look like flowers or little nods on the chain, just to break the uniformity/monotony of it.
On the other hand, this color is so intense, it needed a really simple color scheme to anchor it out. This is my story, and I am sticking to it.
My office Christmas party went well, and there was lots of laughter and good food. I am totally grateful for the weekend, and chance to recuperate and recharge, for all that next week will throw my way. LOL!
If I feel especially perky, I might start with decorating of my house... if not, I will catch up on some Netflix.
Have yourself an amazing weekend.
Cheers!
