Today we are having a poinsettia. There is not a Christmas floral design without poinsettia with its bright red and green leaves. I did seen them in a different colors, but red one is epitome of Christmas time.
My super pretty base is one of the Polish Pickup exclusives, and new to me brand - Starlight Polish - Peppermints in the Parlor. I am always glad to try new Indie, and see how they measure to the ones I love. Base is pales pink with iridescent shimmers and tiny metallic red micro glitters. It was surprisingly opaque in 2 coats.
I was really impressed with this one, and it is a great possibility that I will purchase another one of this brand in future.
I used the image from Uber Chic - Holiday Jingle.
Image is picked up using Maniology - Poison, dark metallic polish.
I colored in the image using a sparkly red polish.
In the end, I added a few dots in the middle to represent an actual flower of poinsettia.
Result was really pretty, but I wish I picked a lighter red to color in, to make the contrast more visible. Some days I can be too critical about myself, but that just makes me strive to do a better next time, and I don't seem to find anything wrong with that.
Now, I will let you enjoy your day.
Cheers!
