Later on, as a teenager, I was designing and making my own clothes. There was a magical part of closet with all sorts of fabrics my mom would purchase for herself, or to make an outfits for my sister and me, but life would interfere, and years passed before I got to use them. That was actually great thing, because I always had such a cool fabric to choose from, and was totally unique.
In that happy memory of being with my parents,Loved, sheltered and protected from the world I have this manicure. This is another one from the unposted files...
As a base, I used Color Club - Secret Rendezvous.
This particular one has easy application, and on the swatch above, I am wearing three cots and no top coat. it dries to this super glossy finish, but if you want your manicure to last you longer, I would recommend a top coat. Because I rarely ever wear single polish color, and know that there would be a some kind of the nail art involved, I barely ever add a top coat to a swatch.
Image I used here is on Born Pretty BPL-041 stamping plate, and I stamped it with DRK - Copper. I added top coat over the stamping.
I actually loved clean look of this manicure, and decided against adding another layer of stamping, or another color into the mix.
As I grow older, I can tell you that more often than not, less is more, and over and over again I let simplicity to guide me.
As always, I am wishing you a wonderful weekend, and to me, some nice weather, so I can finally work on my garden.
Cheers!
