There is something about the white crellies that appeals to me on every level, and I get me one every once in a while.
For this manicure, I was wearing Painted Polish by Lexi - Ice Ice Cave-y. Beautiful mix of turquoise, blue, black and gold glitter in a white crelly base got me at the first sight. Lexi's crellies are amazing no matter which color is the base. All have amazing formula that applies easily and evenly. Here I am wearing two coats which was enough for full opacity, and I did apply the top coat to smooth any irregularity of the base before stamping. I was stamping straight lines, and I did not want to risk any possible bumps in the surface.
Images used are on Uber Chic - Pretty in Plaid 2 stamping plate.
There was lots of layers stamped here, as every color was stamped separately.
For stamping, some of the colors were pulled from the colors of the glitters, because I wanted to create the soft look.
Stamping polishes used were as follows: Dance Legend - Mint; Mini Mani Moo - Gold; B. Loves Plates - B. a Kiwi and Revlon - Hot for Chocolate.
I loved this color combo, and that little addition of the dark brown grounded the image and completed it.
On the first photo you can see the glossy look, but plaid has to be warm, so I added a matte top coat, which made me fall in love with this all over again...
You can expect to see more plaid in the colder months ahead, so brace yourself. LOL!
It is already middle of the week, and I am extra excited as I took some time off, starting this Friday! Yay!
Have a wonderful day.
Cheers!
