Best that a girl could do was to try to make the manicure as soon as she came home and wear it like that... It definitively was not as warm as the fluffy, soft scarf that was not in my basket... but in the way, I got to commemorate the one that got away. There is only a two dozen in my drawer, and I can only wear one at the time... so I really did not need it, I just wanted it.
As a base for the plaid, I used Koroleva - Mohair Sweater. This is the last of Koroleva polishes from my Lakodom (Russian exchange) purchase while ago.
Mohair Sweater features palest pink crelly base full of copper micro glitters, and some iridescent mica flakes. Pastel tones or almost pastels like this one are not my usual fare - I am more comfortable with deep or more saturated tones. Have to admit that it was surprisingly opaque in 2 smooth coats.
Images I used are on Uber Chic - Pretty In Plaid 3 stamping plate, and for stamping I used metallic grey, and Colour Alike - Cherry Tomato stamping polishes.
All was topped with matte top coat. Color combo was so easy to wear, I will have to remember it. I only wish my grey was showing better. maybe the creme would show better, but it is what it is.
I hope your day will go better than one before.
Cheers!
