Pink ribbon is for the breast cancer, and hence so much pink that is involved with this campaign. Breast cancer can be survivable with early detection - self checks, mammograms, but also trust your partner to do it for you, as they also know how your breasts feel. Anything unusual, it is better check and be at peace, then let it be and live to regret it. Even though it is a cancer that predominantly would be found in women, if there is strong family history, males should be checked. There is also a genetic testing that can see if there is a marker that can predict chance of the breast cancer. In any case, education is the best tool for early detection of anything. You know your body the best. Anything off should be checked on regular basis.
My pink manicure started with pretty pink crelly by Koroleva - Flamingo Float. This polish (as well as this manicure) is much brighter in person, but did not photographed all that well. Bubblegum pink base is full of different shaped/sized glitters in matte white, pink and purple, and is really pretty. I also think that polishes like this really good translate in knitted or fabric inspired manicures, and plaid is always on the top of my list when it comes to the prints.
All Images are on Cici & Sisi - Plaid 01 acrylic stamping plate.
For stamping, I used Colour Alike - Pink Power, which is actually neon pink, not that you could tell by my photos...
I also added some grey to ground all this up.
This was so pretty in person, I did not want to remove it, and this time I managed to stamp lines pretty straight, even though my dominant hand ended up looking better. Who knew I can stamp better with my non dominant hand. It is a mystery to me.
Have an awesome Friday everyone!
Cheers!
