Another one from the vault, because I still did not find the time to do anything with my nails of the late...
With hubby passing away and construction underway, it is really hard to squeeze some time in for the nails.
I have to admit, I did make a time tonight to do my nails, as tomorrow is my first day back to work... after six months to a day...
Mixed feeling about it. Part of me is glad to get back into routine, part is apprehensive, and wants to stay home another week or two...
Doing this post right before bed time, and it will be almost a Monday by the time I finish it.
As a base for this pretty manicure I used Wet 'n' Wild - Black Crème on all but index and ring finger nail.. Over that, I did a brush strokes using a foil glue, and after glue changed color from milky to clear, I applied some pretty pink holographic foil.
I really liked the effect of roughly sketched texture. You would think I would stop there, but you know me, I have to continue. I just liked look of the foil over the black, I wanted more of it.
On the index and ring finger I applied Seche - Intrepid. I also did apply pink foil over it, then stamped plaid image from Creative Shop 05 stamping plate. For stamping, I used Clear Jelly Stamper and Hit the Bottle - As Black As Night.
All was topped with two coats of Piggy Paint - Water based top coat to preserve foil look.
Wish me good luck tomorrow.
Cheers!
