I ordered pink and blue from Born Pretty Store, and first one I used was pink one. I you are interested, this foil was item #48053-1, and you are more than welcome to use my discount code SHGK31.
I painted my nails pale pink, but this foil is so opaque, as long as you have the base coat, you should be golden.
To transfer the foil, I used Maniology - Foil Glue I purchased myself long ago, and finally got a courage to try it out. At Maniology you can use my code SANJA10 to save.
Foil glue is cloudy when just applied, and you should let it dry a while, until turns clear. If it is not cured enough, it will pull away when you are trying to remove the foil backing. I learned that lesson pretty quick.
This pink marble is pretty, even though this particular shade does little for my skin tone...
For whichever reason, it reminded me of pink quartz, and I decided to go with super simple, jewellery inspired look.
For outlining the nails, I used gold stamping polish from Born Pretty store and super fine brush. Using the smaller strokes, I managed to apply the polish pretty evenly.
Look was completed with some gold toned long studs. I was so enamored with this look, I did not want to remove it. Wore it to work for few days, and then foil started to peel... not sure if I needed to wait little bit longer for the glue to dry? no idea, this was the first time I had full nail foil application on all 10 nails.
What do you think of this look?
I do realize it is super easy and simple, but some days easy and simple is all you can manage. Even though these look so simple, took me a while to paint the gold lines around each nail, on both hands...
Have a wonderful day.
Cheers!
