I am not much about pastel colors, but they remind me of spring, and at this time they are golden - we just have heavy snow fall this past weekend, and all I want is for winter to finally go away! Let's think spring, and maybe it will hurry up.
Base for this manicure is Sally Hansen - Crème de la crème.
I found it bit too pale for me at this moment - I needed just a touch more of color. I decided to apply one coat of Madam Glam - TGIF. TGIF is iridescent glitter topper suspended in a hot pink jelly, and someone recently posted how this one glows in a dark, and yes, it does have pale glow... I just hope I will remember that next Halloween.
You know that I would not leave this alone - Right?
I was just itching to use one of my Creative Shop plates, and image I used is form plate 39. I seriously love all of the plates they came out with, and want them all- but that will not happen any time soon... All images are so unique, and they transfer to perfection.
For this one I did not even use stamping polish - but regular polish, Revlon - Hot for chocolate.
Image I picked is so fine lined, and so pretty, even though bit too big for my nails. I though this one would look really neat reverse stamped... Saying this does not mean that I was up to doing such a thing... I kind of cheated, and I stamped image first, changing direction on it for a little bit of interest, and then, using fine brush, I filled in some of the lines using another Madam Glam polish - Breaking News.
Breaking News is really pretty pink metallic polish that also stamp like a champ. I do not remember ever using it, and it was a high time to use it. I purchased all of the Madam Glam regular polishes last May...
I love art deco, and this image is straight out of this era, but I am not sure about this manicure. I love colors, I love image, but somehow, not all together... Still on the fence... Maybe you will like it.
Anyhow, I hope you all had a wonderful weekend, but fun is over... Hope to see you tomorrow.
Cheers!
