Phoenix is one of those mythical creatures that raises out of ashes, bright and brilliant - strength re-born. Rising from the darkness and into a light, shining like a light itself.
This month you will see few mythical themed manicures, as they are part of the challenge I am participating in. Loving this type of prompts, so let's see what I can do with them.
On my index and middle finger I applied Sally Hansen - Grey Area, taupe kind of deepest dark nude, and I thought this would be a perfect base for stamping... I just wish I picked something shade or two lighter for the base. In the same time, it is perfectly fitting with above description.
Rest of the nails are painted with Painted Polish - Warrior Wisdom - I surprised myself by ordering it, and even more how much I actually love it! In love with all of that shimmer and flakies that look like they are glowing from within.
Image is on BCN-008 stamping plate I purchased on line ages ago, and is actually single, full nail image that I spread onto two nails.
For stamping, I used Hit the Bottle - Poison Apple, and Born Pretty - Gold and Pink. I stamped the tail feathers with all of those colors to mimic the flames... I wanted to stamp them in a metallic colors, and now I am on the mission - I need shimmery orange stamping polish. :)
Have yourself a wonderful day.
Cheers!
