I am not a carver, as a matter of the fact, I never ever carved a single pumpkin. Only carved pumpkins in my house, you can find on my nails. LOL!
When my boys were little, we would not carve them, but I would paint them, so afterwards we would peel them and I would make an desert with them.
Following the day/night story line, I did a manicure that would portray it, only I switched night/day, so you can see that what looks spooky in the dark, may look pretty goofy in the light of the day.
On my ring finger I did a gradient using Essence - Wake me up! - super pretty bright orange, and Konad - Special Yellow. I totally forgot about that orange, and I promptly used it in two manicure.
I also used the same two polishes for the gradient stamping. I stamped image first with the white - Hit the Bottle - Snowed in, to make sure that stamping is visible over the black, and that intense glitter.
On my ring finger I am wearing the black polish, while of other three, I applied two coats of Different Dimension - Gobble till you wobble over Wake me up!. This glitter topper was part of the last year's Halloween collection, and I think I only missing one or two, still crying for that pretty tan crelly I did not picked up when I had and opportunity.
Images are on Winstonia - Spooktacular for the pumpkin faces, and Hallo-Scream for the 'pumpkin blood' drip. As you can see, I do have a plenty of Halloween themed stamping plates, and even more of them I never used even though I own them for few years already.
It is just Halloween that I do not like, and just if I decide to actually made a themed manicure, I do have plenty to choose from.
Have yourself a wonderful week.
Cheers!
