My gorgeous mustard yellow is by Starrily - Queen Bee. This color is so pretty, and super creamy and easy to apply. Here, I am wearing 2 coats for the perfect coverage. I always loved mustard yellow, and have few bottles of very similar shades, and this particular bottle was gifted to me by Victoria from NailStuff.ca. Last night when I checked, there were still 2 bottles available, so I added a link just in case that you decide to look at it or purchase it. For those that will shop at NailStuff.ca for the first time, I have one time discount code SANJA10 that will give you 10% off of the purchase, even on the sale items.
Lately, I was on the kick purchasing stamping plates with abstract or one line images, and this was the perfect timing to try one of those purchases.
I also wanted to try something different, so I used little piece of the sponge, and with that I dabbed some colors for the background, tree and the buck, and I painted some clouds.
My color positioning was approximate, where images of tree and buck should be.
With black stamping polish I picked up images from Uprettego - JR421 stamping plate, and was pleasantly surprised how well they fitted over my sponged approximation. This really looked great, but then in my usual fashion I had to add more...
I double stamped the buck with white, and hated it with the passion... There was nothing else I could do but stamp over with black again...
You see, even I can make big mistakes, even though I stamp for years. There is a lesson hiding somewhere here - It is humanly to make mistake, so be kind to yourself. Some days I should heed my own advice.
To divert the attention from the ring finger, I decided to add some texture on rest of the nails.
Textured image is on Nicole Diary - L15 stamping plate. For stamping, I used MoYou London - Roasted Caramel stamping polish. I used this polish for the dabbing of the buck body, so it seemed like a good color choice.
In the end, I was pretty pleased with the outcome of this manicure. It gave me all the right Autumnal vibes, and I hope it will do same for you too.
Have yourself an amazing Monday, and even better week ahead.
Cheers!
