I will say no more but - thanks heavens for the nectarines. With them, I shifted my peach loving taste buds to delicious, flavorful and fuzz free nectarines.
This was opening for the fruity nail art featuring the peaches or are they nectarines that I did?
Textured orange polish is by China Glaze - Toe-Tally Textured. This is possible one of my favorite orange polishes I own. I got few polishes from the Texture collection, and I am still bummed that I missed out on the white one. My hopeful heart is still thinking I might run across one by the sheer accident... China Glaze really did a great job with those.
Sheer polish on middle two fingers is by Ella + Mila - Pretty In Pink. I only have couple of polishes by this Indie, and have to admit that I love the formula. Pretty In Pink has that fine porcelain look, and I think that is the reason why I have so many white/light colored crelly or sheer polishes. They just look so good, and I never really liked the sheer look!
Images I picked for today are on Born Pretty - Tropical Punch - L004 stamping plate I purchased who knows when, and finally got to use.
I had fun coloring in the images, and in the end, I added some peach colored dots around the image on my middle finger.
I loved the way this came out, and even more for the fact that I used another textured polish this year. Yay for me!
Textured polish is not for everyone, and I am aware that not everyone likes to wear them. I was like that years ago, I wanted my polishes to be as smooth as they get. Then I gave texture a try, and never looked back. There is also lots of petting with other fingers, as for whichever reason, I actually can't help myself by touch it all the time when I wear them.
Some of the textured polishes can be smoothed out with couple of layers of top coat, so don't cut yourself short, as some matte glittery textured polishes look absolutely stunning with glossy top coat on.
As for fire situation - it is under control at the moment, and this 55 000 acres monster of the fire will hopefully be out soon. We had some much needed rainfall yesterday, and that slowed the progress and help with containment. However, even though evacuation alert is lifted, we are advised to stay prepared just in case situation changes.
Rain also considerably cooled the air, and I actually had a good night sleep like I did not have in months. I will savor it as forecast predicts another heat wave coming our way by the end of the next week.
Be safe, and stay safe.
Cheers!
