Give me a bold, vibrant, strong, and I am in my own element - washed out look is just not me.
I did this manicure for a contest that MoYou London is having on Instagram.
This is the last minute kind of entry, and to be honest, this definitively does not rate in top ten of my designs. Trick with this one is to make manicure using only these three colors: peach, mint and light blue... I guess that is what challenge was in the first place.
I had no idea what to do with those colors - that much is obvious.
Colors I have used here are: Ciate - Hoopla (peachy pink) and Pepperminty (mint green) and MoYou London - Baby Blue.
I painted my middle and ring finger with Pepperminty, and rest of the nails I painted with Hoopla.
For stamping I used Baby Blue, even though this is not stamping polish per say. It worked for me because stamped, it looked pretty much like a color they gave you as a guidance...
Image on my middle finger is rose from MoYou London Bridal Collection 05 stamping plate, and I filled in the image with Hoopla. It covered most of my ring finger, and little of the Pepperminty that was visible, I covered in tiny dots using Baby Blue.
On my ring finger, I stamped image from MoYou London Greek Mythology Collection 06 stamping plate. I actually liked the way that nail looks.
On pinky and index finger I did polka dots in blue and mint green, and I wish I just did it like that on all nails.
My thumb was also stamped with image from Greek Mythology Collection 06 plate, but I did not like it, so I decided not to show it.
Wish me a luck, as I will really need it.
Cheers!
