I had Different Dimension - Andy's Coming way too long in my untried box.
Grey crelly base is full of coper to green color shifting flakies and some gold to green iridescent flakies. Love this pretty grey, and this one is super pretty. It almost looks like a frozen pond.
On the swatch above, I am wearing 2 coats and no top coat.
I wanted something bright and sunny on my short nails, but I also wanted to accent those coppery flakies. When I came across this particular pattern on Uber Chic - 23-02 stamping plate I realized I could use both - yellow and copper.
First, I stamped the full nail image (I marked images used with *) using What's Up Nails - Fab Cab, then I picked up the single image from the central part of the plate using DRK Nails -Copper, and lined it with the yellow image I already stamped. This way I got best of the both worlds.
I had to use the glossy top coat here, event though I know that this would look amazing with the matte top coat. It is just that I posted some matte looks this week, and if anything else, I love the variety.
This images reminded me of fidget spinners - anyone remembers those? They were all the rage few years back.
Today I my last day of the self isolation, and I am just waiting for the phone call from the health authorities to clear me to get back to work tomorrow. Yay! I just can't believe how much I am looking forward to going back to work. Most of that is the relief that I did not develop the COVID sypmtoms, and in the same time I made sure that I actually rest. I truly can't remember when was the last time when I just chilled. After that initial shock that was replaced with the short lived anger, I decided that this is the perfect way for me to actually get some real rest - no sorting, cleaning (but bare minimum) or the big reno projects of any kind. I chilled and binge watched some Netflix, read a book and almost completely finished the sweater I started since I was home. This was surreal experience that I will take in stride, because every day that passed without any symptoms I felt relief. Feeling blessed and very rested.
Wish me a luck tomorrow.
Cheers!
