I reached for untired polish on my shelf, and this time this was Sally Hansen - Sonic Bloom. I was under the weather when I did this manicure, so I neglected the swatch part. I think that my logic at the time was that I did not paint all of my nails fully... It could also be that I was just too weak to go to the cold polish room and try to take a photos... that will be one of those unsolved mysteries.
Sonic Bloom is intense coral, and loved how this color looks on me. It is warm and bright and reminded me of hot Summer day.
All I wanted was to paint my nails, and I wanted some negative space.
I also was not up to stamping, and clean up that may follow. My plate holders are really heavy, so I just left them on the shelf where they belong.
What was easy for me to carry around, and work on my coffee table was foil glue and some foil. I purchased both at the Born Pretty Store while ago, and I have no idea what item numbers they could be.
I also grabbed my striping tape dispenser, and I used some silver tape. That was all that I could manage at the time.
Considering how bad I felt, this manicure did not end up half bad.
Foil that I picked had this pretty holographic lace + paisley design, and considering that I usually have no idea what to do with each, was pretty good choice.
All was topped with two coats of Moyra - SP. Aqua Top Coat, I purchased solely for use with the foils. I used different water based top coat before, but like Moyra much better. As you can tell from my photos, holographic foil finish is nicely preserved and there was zero wrinkling.
This was not really what I wanted to show you today, but once again, yours truly that is seriously technologically challenged had some technical difficulties, and you know how they say: Even the best laid plans...
I will be on the hunt for a new shower faucet tomorrow, and then I have to rope my son to install it... have to admit, I am not fond of cold showers, any time of the year.
On that note, have a wonderful weekend, and be safe and stay safe.
Cheers!
