I had set of Elen Tracey polishes sitting on my shelf for more than a two years, and it was a high time to finally try some of them. Because they been in a gift packaging, there is no name on any of the bottles. If names were on the box, same is long gone.
First one I tried is this medium nude.
Back to this one. This one had a smooth formula, and applied very smooth and evenly. I could leave it as one coat, but shown above is two coats, and no top coat.
Because this set was waiting for so long to be swatched, I used another one from the same series. This one showed in the bottle as a smoky purple with green shimmer, but on the nail, purple was less dominant, and I was left with lots of green...
This one was applied on my thumb and ring finger.
I found another polish I never used, and this time I used stamping polish from Kaleidoscope Stm-24- Spicy sunset. I am not sure what was I expecting when ordering this one, but there was some disappointment involved when I received the order. This one shows coppery when stamped, and I believe I expected anything but that, because I already own couple of copper stamping polishes from different makers.
That said, I had to try it here, so I used full nail image from Mezerdoo 10 rectangular stamping plate.
That served as a nice background for a buck image from Bundle Monster BM-S303 stamping plate, and I used first Kaleidoscope - Black, then White for stamping. For some reason I had some difficulties with image pick up, but all in all I kind of liked this manicure.
Everything was topped with Sally Hansen - Big Matte Top Coat.
I am not into hunting, and I have no idea when season for certain animals is, so I named this one Out of season, because either they been out of season when I did them, or they are out of season now...
I figured, this was as good as any opportunity to sport my buck ring.
I wish you all a wonderful day.
