When it comes to the one piece of paper wonders, I did made many paper hats, boats and airplanes - that happens when you have three boys... As a kids we folded a paper in a certain way to create something that we wrote messages in, and played with. That is pretty much a highlight of my origami experience.
Yesterday we had a snow storm... Yikes! I was not impressed with Mother Nature. All I want to see this time of the year is blue sky, and if I can't have it in nature, I can paint it on my nails.
Gorgeous blue is by A England - Spirit of the Moors. This is not a new shade by no means, but it is still one of my favorites. Not only that A England polishes have amazing formula, they also have great color too, so it is no wonder why I love the brand.
I used a single image from MoYou London - Origami - 02 stamping plate. MoYou plates come with images in two sizes, and images on this plate are big ones. I usually have a trouble fitting them on my nails, so I always look for the plates with the same images, only for the shorter nails.
There is no way to fit one of those images on my nails even when they are longer, never mind when they are short. I did a next best thing - I split the image and applied it over two nails. It all went well, as you can see, only that image on my ring finger is little bit upside down. LOL!
My boss noticed (of course he would) that planes on my hands are not matching... Cindy had them stamped properly... There was no other thing for me to say, but that upside down was doing the flips in the air! LOL! He accepted that explanation.
For stamping, I used Hit the Bottle - Smurf Blood, one of my favorite bright blue stamping polishes. I colored in the plains with white nail polish, to break up the all blues on my nails...
As I said earlier, I built lots of paper planes with my boys, and ones I made flew better than ones their dad would make. That made me really popular paper plain maker.
With a hope for the blue skies, and while waiting for the Spring to come back for sure, I bid you all a good bye.
Cheers!
