Some days you just not feel like putting on a make up, or do your hair, and you feel like just sitting in your pajamas and sitting a front of TV with the bag of popcorn.
Simple manicures are like that for me. I do them for my own pleasure, even though I do share them with you.
I started with Celestial Cosmetics - Buckle Up Buttercup.
I purchased this polish almost a year ago, and this is the first time I am wearing it. I actually wore this day before the Royal wedding. At work, we had a little bit of fun, and we girls all wore the fascinators and had a tea cups... We pretended that we were invited to the wedding, and just had a blast.
According to the royal rule book, they can only wear pale nude or pink on their nails, so I kinda obliged there. Mine was just a little bit flashier. They are also not allowed to wear any nail art... how boring is this. I decided not to merry any royal - I don't think that I can live without color... I can not imagine not being able to wear red or purple of any other color? Forget it! LOL!
Because I am rule breaker, I did little bit of the nail art, one swan on each hand, representing the bride and the groom.
Image I used is on Creative Shop 10 stamping plate. I picked up image using the Hit the Bottle - As Black As Night and filled in the image with Jessica - Sharktooth.
I wanted to have appropriate prop for the manicure, and I knew that have no idea how to make a origami swan. Having a three boys, I learned how to make a paper boats and paper planes... and that is what you will get.
This is all from me for today.
Cheers!
