As the base for today's look, I used Color Club Nail Lacquer - Flamingo.
On the swatch above, I am wearing 2 easy coats and no top coat.
Long time ago, I read somewhere that neon pink and neon blue make a such a color contrast that confuses our eyes, and if there is the lettering, that our eyes will have a hard time reading, as it would all look fuzzy. At the time when I read this piece of trivia, I pulled out one of my records (yes, we did listened to the records back then), and tried to read the back of the cover that was done in those two colors, and have to admit, that this theory was totally sealed.
Images I picked for this base are on Uber Chic - 28-01 stamping plate. I love layering images, and use every opportunity to practice my layering skills.
For stamping, I used Hit the Bottle - Blueberry Snowdrops (body of the butterflies) and Purple Reign ( for the outline).
Even though I did not use the hardest for the human eye color combo, I came pretty close...
In any case, colors I used were so vibrant, perfect to lift any mood. Unfortunately on my photos this was mellowed down, but it was still pretty Summer time manicure.
Hope your week is going great.
Cheers!
