I definitively like this color shift of multichrome polishes, as I may or may not have similar ones from different brands. This is really surprizing, considering that I do not wear brown polishes often, but something in this color shift is appealing to me on so many levels.
What I liked the best about Burnt Out is that I did not need to use any black polish as a base. This wonderful depth was achieved just with two coats of Burnt Out, and I did not apply top coat. This one applies smooth like a butter, and dries really quick.
There is another side of Burnt Out that I like a lot. This baby stamps pretty good, and that was the biggest and most pleasurable surprize of all.
All above photos were done indoors, under my lamp.
I wanted to play on the name of the collection, and do something that would look like oil spilled on water, but I picked wrong image, and instead of spotting my stamping polishes in random pattern, I did gradient...
Image I used is on UR Beautiful 18 stamping plate, and I liked squiggly lined pattern.
For stamping, I used Hit the Bottle stamping polishes in: Poison Apple, It Mossed Be Love, I'm Pinking Of Blue and Electric Indigo.
This was really pretty, but bit too subtle for me. I decided this would be a background that I would stamp on... well that did not go the way I imagined it, and I just ruined fine manicure...
I hated second layer so much, that I did not even clean up before I moved on, and removed it all!
Good thing is that I managed to snap one or two photos before disastrous add on.
First three photos were taken outdoors, using natural light, while the ones on the bottom are done with the help of my lamp.
In a few days, I will show you what was the other thing I did with this gorgeous base, because I just had to wear it.
This is all from me today, and as always- thank you for stopping by.
Cheers!
