That got me in situation where I have shoe box full of different pigments, flakies, glitters... That does not sound a lot unless you know how small the jars are in which those products arrive...
So, I figured I will so something really special with all those products, and I sat to do my manicure...
I started with light grey base by Orly, then I applied few different flakies and micro glitters over my nails. Have to admit this looked much better in person than on photos. This is how this looked when I was finished with application.
I was kind of stuck there.
While I liked all the sparkly goodness there, I had no idea what to stamp over it. Freehand was off the menu, as I did not want to mess it up.
I picked stamping plate by Lina done in collaboration with @kombucha_witch, and stamped the building first with white, then with orange then with black - I did told you that I had no idea what I was going for here. Then I had this idea to make this look like I was looking down through the flowering branches, so branches came out to play, but it was bit pale for my taste...
Then I added some flowers using the dotting tool, and in the end I just wanted to scrape it all off.
I very successfully managed to cover up all those flakies and glitters I so painstakingly applied, and totally petrified that I will sneeze and scatter all those particles all over my desk, clothes, floor...
Well, we all learn. I learn that nothing would happen if I stop sooner - It is always easier to add on, than to take off. Less is more, and you would think I would learn by now... There is always another day and another sparkly mess in the future for me.
I did applied glossy top coat first, but then decided to apply the matte top coat. Honestly, I did not like either one of them, but I will use is as a teachable moment, at least for myself - apparently, there is a thing as too much of the good thing! Who knew! LOL!
Have an amazing day.
Cheers!
