One of these days I will succeed, and until then, I will just keep on trying.
I started by applying my nail polish Lucky 13 Lacquer - Dark Matter. Super creamy black polish that applies like a dream.
I also used black holographic polish by Ardene - Grunge Goddess.
Now to the details...
I purchased this 2Joy-020 plate couple of years ago... pretty plate with eclectic mix of images.
It is one thing to see the image and think - it is easy-peasy... no big deal, until you actually try to do it. Then you realize that image is too big, that you may not be able to make the dancing lights on your nails...but then you just bite the bullet and do it.
First I stamped using shimmery duochrome polishes: Kaleidoscope - Stm.-23 Aurora Borealis (had to use the polish with this name) and M Polish - Sweet Clover.
It was fine, but looked kind of washed out, really flat, nothing like a vibrant dance of the light I witnessed years ago from the balcony of the rented apartment, my first summer in Canada.
I added another layer of color by using Esmaltes da Kelly - Kaa over the Sweet Clover, and Hit the Bottle - Smurf Blood over the Aurora Borealis...
I wanted to do some shadowy forest on the tips, and I added a tree on my index finger, and decided not to proceed... I regretted stamping it, but now was too late.
It kind of look like a Northern Lights if you look from the distance, or if you squint the right way... or it could just be a squiggle of the toddler... what ever you decide...
One thing is for sure, I gave it a try, and next time - and there will be the next time, I will try to do better. Striving to do better is the moving force of the world. If you want something hard enough, you will make it happen.
This would be enough from me. Have yourself a wonderful day.
Cheers!
