Nicole Diary store can be found on two websites: one is on Ali Express, and other on Amazon. All you need to do is to click on the link provided to take you to one or the other store.
If you ordering from Ali Express store, be prepared to wait little bit longer for your order - at least in my own experience.
I really can't tell you approximate wait time from Amazon store, but again judging from own experience, wait time will possibly be lesser.
First item I will share with you is this huge water decal sheet.
Four out of twelve sheets are full nail decals, and rest of them are smaller, individual decals that can be placed on the nail individually or as grouping. Two of those individual design sheets are just black clear decals, and you can leave them as is, or you can color them in- choice is yours.
Owl designs are so different, and some are cartoonish, while other are more artistic or even realistically looking. I love that there are different sizes to choose from, and I decided to mix full nail design with smaller, individual decal grouping.
Honestly, combinations are endless. I really liked water color look of one of the full nail decals, that I found smaller, similarly colored one to pair it with.
I painted middle and ring finger nail with Jessica - Sharktooth, white polish, as I like to apply decals on the lighter background. Sometimes it is really hard to know how opaque decals are, as they all come on the white background. My full nail decal did not even needed white background because white part of the decal was actually solid.
Rest of the nails I painted with Lyn B Designs - Equinoctial - periwinkle base with blue shimmer and glitters. I thought that this color is pretty close to colors used in coloring of decals. I also did a dry brush over a middle finger.
I did not had any luck with decals last time, so I was really apprehensive about them, but I did not have any issues this time.
Decals are super thin, and after you add a top coat, you will not be able to tell where decal ends, and where begins, and that is really important with smaller decals. It is important to me - flatter they lay, longer they last.
All water decals have same principal of application. You cut out the decal image you want, remove film on the top side of decal, and place it in the water. After 5-10 seconds, using a tweezers, remove decal out of water, and placing it between thumb and index finger you can gently slide decal off of the backing and you can apply it to your nail.
I also have a piece of paper towel or paper napkin that I use to pat down excess moisture. That will ensure that decal stay in place and lay as flat as possible against nail surface.
All that is left to do is to add a layer of the top coat for longer wear.
If you use full nail decal, you might need to use brush dipped in little bit of nail polish remover to melt down and remove what ever is over the nail's free edge or around the nail area. When applying a top coat, make sure that you also apply it onto a free edge to seal decal.
This is how final result looked:
I added Sally Hansen - Big Matte Top Coat, and I also added it over the glittery polish too, and I have to admit, I loved this even more.
Unfortunately, I was not given a discount code to share with you, but you never know, that may happen in the future.
Cheers!
