I think they grown enough to crave more uniformed look.
I was one of the lucky bloggers that they reached out to for promotion and review of the new look.
Due to circumstances out of my hand, I received said bottle couple of days ago.
Yes, this took its time in coming, but better late, than never.
This is how the new packaging looks.
Bottle itself holds 6 ml of polish, as much as old square bottle did. This one is oval, with the black cap and very elegant gold ring at the bottom of the cap.
Brush is nice - not too skinny, and not too thick too. It fans out nicely, so you can almost get the whole nail in one smooth sweep. Silly me, did not think to take a brush photo. I promise, I will do it next time.
I was sent Chameleon Magnetic polish from the new Magnetic Aurora Series, and you can find it on the site under item #42398, and color is BP-MA03 The Gravity.
Let me tell you one thing- bottle shot does not gives this polish any justice.
As the name said, it is chameleon and magnetic polish, and I wanted to show you both.
First I will show you The Gravity as a chameleon, or multichrome polish.
On the swatch above I am wearing two coats and no top coat. First coat looked bit sheer, but second brought it to full opacity, and this looks awesome just as is. No black undies needed.
I do own few multichromes from Born Pretty Store, and all of them are beautiful, with strong color shift.
I also want to show you this beautiful polish with magnet applied. I used double sided magnet I purchased myself at the site, one with straight, rectangular magnet on one end, and smaller round one on the other.
Every time I looked at my nails, there was a different color looking back at me. I love the drama, and there is really strong cat eye effect here, no matter of the lighting conditions.
I love magnetic polishes for all of the possibilities, and would totally recommend any polish in this series. Bonus is that you do not have to break the bank to purchase them either.
I do own quite few of Born Pretty polishes - some of them were sent to me for the review, some I purchased myself just because I am really happy with the quality of the product.
In the next part, I will use some of the stamping polishes I purchased myself, and you will see first hand couple of different bottle shapes I was talking about earlier. Kudos to Born Pretty Store for doing this overtaking that will make browsing through the site eye pleasing experience.
No matter what kind of nail art I would do over this gorgeous base, it would cover it up.
I decided to use the plate that I did not use in a while, and only fair thing would be to make this review complete Born Pretty experience by using one of their own stamping plates. I do own quite a few of them, mostly purchased myself, some of them sent to me for review.
This is one of those plates. It is mandala themed, and truth to be told, I am mostly at loss what to do with this type of images.
Stamping plate used is BP-L052, item #36310. As I said before, stamping polishes I purchased myself, and both can be found under this item #39942, colors 1 + 10. Color 10 is the orange crème I stamped first with, but was not happy with the contrast, so I stamped over with Gold stamping polish that would be color 1 here- I got it as one of the four in the Thanksgiving gift set that may not be available any more.
I used one image only, my nails are not long enough for this whole design, so I stamped part of it as a full nail, and part that did not fit from the top, I placed on the cuticle side of index and pinky.
In many ways this reminded me of the gold locket with mystic topaz encased within filigree work.
