You know that I am not really big on negative space and showing off most of my nail, but I have to admit, I wore this whole last week, and I did not have any urge to change it. This was huge surprise for me, but I really loved how this looked on me.
This was loose interpretation of the manicure one of the ladies I follow did while ago, and was part of the collaboration on Instagram. I did use the sheer base polish (unlike Diana), I did not have the same image, but I improvised and I love it, especially because I added some color on the ring finger. I had to stamp every single heart separately. I did stamped over the white stamping, so I could actually make the design unified from nail to nail. This way this manicure ended up being my own.
My sheer base was OPI - Act Your Beige! I have this polish in a crème version, and is my all time favorite nude base.
Image I used is on Uber Chic - Love & Marriage 02 stamping plate. Even though the image I used is different than one Diana did, the sentiment is the same.
White stamping polish is Maniology - Bam! White.
For the colored hearts, I used whole bunch of B. Loves Plates stamping polishes. Those polishes are becoming my favorite crème stamping polishes. I am so glad that I got them on their anniversary sale at the beginning of the year. I kind of created a hint of the rainbow here, so this did not look like a bridal nails.
I found some star shaped bunch of the balloons that were a perfect prop, and the splash of color for the photos.
With this, I wanted to wish a happy birthday to Diana, and to all of you - happy Monday, and happy Summer. Summer solstice was yesterday, and with that Summer officially arrived.
Cheers!
