For today, I prepared almost a rustic, folk like design, featuring bright flowers against the pretty holographic base. Pretty much every region in the world has a specific way of painting the flowers, and I may not say with the certainty which region inspired me, but I really love this bright, colorful look.
On all but index finger I applied China Glaze - BFF, and on index I only done the French tip.
All flowers are hand painted using different stamping polishes, dotting tool and the brush.
Why do I paint with stamping polishes? I not only paint with them, but more often than not I also use them to color in the decals. Why? Because they are opaque, and I know that they will not be lost on no matter what kind of background I paint them. They also dry faster than the regular polish, so wait time is pretty short, especially if you are doing a lots of colors and lots of layers. Unfortunately, that also means that you have to be fast, as they will not give you much time to play with them. That is the reason why there is so little detail with those flowers. At the same time, I love the colors I picked for them, regardless the lack of details.
For painting here, I used following polishes: Hit the Bottle - Smurf Blood (blue), To Thine own Elf be True (green); Colour Alike - Captain Orange (orange); regular polish by Prairie Crocus - Stars of Promise (neon pink) and little bit of black.
In a way, this also reminded me of my garden, with so many colorful flowers currently blooming there, and in the planters around.
Mercury in the thermometer passed 35*C yesterday, and only heaven know what we can expect in days to come. In any case, wear sunscreen, keep hydrated, and try to avoid the hottest part of the day in the sun.
Have yourself an wonderful, relaxing day.
Cheers!
