Lately all I want to wear are neutral shades just like this one.
As a base I applied beautiful Pearl Jamin' by China Glaze.
I tried to keep the color scheme really simple, and actually had to re-do this once or twice...
I really like grey and pink together, and considering that my grey is really soft, I went for little bit stronger pink shade.
In my first version, I stamped using slightly darker, but not dark enough grey stamping polish by Esmaltes da Kelly - Topolino. Image I used is on UberChic UC 9-03 stamping plate.
I proceed with filling in the decals using Heroine NYC - Mean Girl, Hit the Bottle - Under the strobe-berry lights and Esmaltes da Kelly - Kiki.
Well, that did not look quite as I pictured in my head, so I double stamped with Hit the Bottle - As Black as a night. Well, if I managed to line the images, and if I actually picked up the image properly, I would let it be... this is how that disaster looked like...
I decided to start over, and on middle and ring finger I did smooshy using the same grey and pink colors as before, and I was much happier with that base for the stamping. Decals are not my strong suit...
Image I picked is from the same stamping plate, and once again I used the same black stamping polish. Only difference is that I did added another layer of stamping using Hit the Bottle - Moonshine.
Few black and silver studs and I was ready to go.
It really amazes me how using exactly the same products, you can achieve totally different results. I was showing you my fail just to show you that everyone makes mistakes, and if you do not succeed the first time, just keep on doing it until you are happy with the results.
All that and YAAAYYYY it is Friday!
We girls at work will have some fun Royal wedding themed day at work.
Cheers!
