Yesterday we had some sunshine - Yay! If you live in the valley, you will know how much is this needed. During the winter, there is perpetual low clouds that make the every day the same - grey. If you go up the mountain, you would see some blue skies above, and clouds that like a soft blanket cover the valley below.
That means that some sunshine brought the smile on my face. Blue skies are such a nice sight to see. That also meant that some of the snow that was so earnestly coming down during the last week, melted. Yay for that!
I am mentally ready for back to work, but that does not mean I can't dream of the warmth and of the countries I would love to see one day.
That is the reason why I am doing this design, beside the fact that I totally love the color scheme.
I started with the Color Club Nail Lacquer - Back to the Grind. (hehehe name is so apt for back to work)
Polish is fully opaque in one coat, but on the swatch above, I am wearing 2 coats and no top coat.
I painted my nails with this pretty polish, and next thing I know I wanted to match the top I was wearing!
Images I used are on Maniology - MXM014 stamping plate that I got in a Mani X Me express kit I had subscription to. This is layering plate, and I really had lots of fun picking up the images I wanted to layer here. On my ring finger, I used the little single images that I put together to look like a closeup of the tiles stamped on my middle finger and my index.
You can not purchase it separately, unless you have a current MXM box subscription. There is a place at the site where you can order the plates from the boxes you missed.
I recently cancelled my subscription just because I had too many things on the go, and needed to rein myself in a little. I am spending way too much money on the nail polish and nail plates, and I never seem to run out of the ones I never used. I am trying to see how long I can go before I cave in. Let's face it, this particular plate was in a the Mani X Me box in August 2019, and I just used it for the first time! Yeah, I do have that many plates, and they wait years before I use them for the first time. That was the only reason for my subscription to be cancelled. As soon as I catch up, I am renewing it, as the items I receive in that box are so nice.
That said, you are welcome to use my affiliate code SANJA10 to save 10% for any fully priced item in the store at manilogy.com.
For stamping I used Manilogy - Straight-Up Black + Bam! White, and Hit the Bottle - Electro Candypop. All items used were purchased by myself.
I really loved the pop of that turquoise here.
Have yourself a wonderful day.
Cheers!
