when I started this manicure, I was really excited I got me super pretty Sally Hansen color therapy in Slicks and Sticks. Amazing color - shimmery eggplant purple, and I loved everything about the color, except one thing. This polish will leave stains on your nails. I used it twice, and I was really lucky that I had gel base coat on, and that one was really stained. I would hate to see that on my natural nails. That put a dumper on the color all together. Polish is infused with Argan oil which is supposed to moisturize your nails... except that I am not sure how would nails extract that oil out of dry polish? If you purchased any of those polishes in hope of moisturizing your nail beds, I am afraid that you been missled... especially when price ticket is really high for a mainstream polish.
Seeing my stained nail made me dislike this manicure, even though it started on high note...
I wanted to give some of my older plates some love, so I reached for Bundle Monster BM-204 stamping plate. I was always attracted to this image, and sadly, took me years to finally try it out.
I really never knew how to turn this image...
First, I stamped with Mundo de Unas - White, then double stamped with DRK Nails - Copper.
Where is the white you ask? Well, my base polish reacted with top coat, and purple from below tinted my white stamping polish, making it looking like a purple. That was another disappointment from this polish...
Because I was going for some kind of negative space/modified French manicure with this, I added some laser striping tape below the stamped image.
On my pinky, I first added layer of Sally Hansen - Cooper Penny - copper glitter, they I used square glitters from Sally Hansen - Open Mica Night, and placed them in groups of three.
Finished product I associated with Morocco, and that was the only thing I liked about this manicure.
What do you think?
