Earlier this month, I won the giveaway on Instagram, and my prize was the gift card to Prairie Crocus Polish, newer Canadian Indie. I did have some products sent to me earlier this year for the review, and I liked them. I included the link if anyone wants to give Tamala's products a try.
With my winnings, I picked up two cuticle oil pens, and three nail polishes. Currently on my nails/hands is wonderful cuticle oil in scent - White Christmas (so appropriate) and smells so good. White Christmas smells like a peppermint with a dash of cinnamon, almost undetected under the peppermint scent. I love it - It is fresh and invigorating, and oh so good on my hands.
Polish I am wearing today is first I had to try - Prairie Crocus - You Had Me At Merlot.
Older I get, more and more I appreciate the red on my nails. This red was no exception.
All I could imagine over this beauty was stars. I started going through my plates for the star images, and I just gave up when I came across this one. I was going for very subtle metallic gradient, and it is so subtle it is barely noticeable on the photos, but it was better visible in person.
Image was on the random plate I picked up in Dollar Store couple of years ago, and for stamping I used Winstonia - Silver Bullet and Essie - Blue Rhapsody.
Effect was so pretty - cool stars over the warm base. That was such a nice contrast, I enjoyed wearing this on my nails last week. I am also happy to report that this red did not stain my nails, which is always a good thing.
We are almost at the end of the year. Did any one of you already thought about New Year's resolutions? I never made one, but am always curious about the people who do - do they really go through with them, or they just abandon them sometimes in January.
Have a wonderful day.
Cheers!
