Whichever is your answer, I will talk about it today. PPU is the monthly event that would host the different Indie makers from all over the world. Fairly recently, they split up into Polish Pick Up and Indie Pick Up (IPU), as some Indie makers branched out, and it was not polish only. Beauty is that you can try the new brands and makers, and no matter how much or how little you order, you pay a flat rate shipping, $3 for US, and $5 for Canada, as PPU/IPU is available only for USA and Canada. Every month there is a different theme, and makers do their creations that would tie with the monthly theme.
I had a pleasure of reviewing the both contributions for PPU and IPU from Lucky 13 Lacquer. This month theme was album covers, and Anya picked one by Panic! at the Disco - Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die! . Of course, I had to look them up and I listened to few songs, and even though I did not mind their music, that would be something my son would listened.
For the PPU, Anya's contribution is magnetic polish that comes without the magnet, so I wanted to show you that you can purchase magnetic polish and wear it without the magnet.
Of course, polish name is the name of the album - Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die!
Polish applied smooth, and streak free. It was almost fully opaque in one coat- I am wearing two coats on my swatches. Black undies were not needed. I did tried this one over the black polish, but there was zero difference. I like that very much.
Polish is described as: Rich copper-y red/olive/emerald multichrome with bright blue/teal magnetic pigment.
Polish will be sold for $14, and cap is 140 polishes.
PPU is always first Friday-Monday of the month, and that is March 1st-4th.
You know that I would have some add on to this polish, and I wanted to be related to this, but I was at loss what to do. Eventually, I settled on two images: one on my ring finger is on Lina - Totally Negative 01, and I thought that glitter placement would be perfect for it... only that my iridescent glitters were totally lost on it. LOL!
On my middle finger I used the image form Mezerdoo 29 round plate.
For stamping I used Girly Bits Cosmetics - Silly Daffodilly, and Hit the Bottle - Snowed in.
Tomorrow, I will show you this polish with the use of the magnet.
Have a wonderful Monday.
Cheers!
