This was another opportunity to make a plaid design, and I am not one to pass on what I like to do.
As a base, I used super pretty Glisten & Glow - Mystery Polish September 2020. I love this shade of green, and black matte glitters in different sizes are just added bonus! For a while, I was obsessive compulsively purchasing all the speckled polishes. The more the merrier... No regrets whatsoever! I love those pretty polishes, and I have them in different colors and with differently sized glitters. Most of them have black glitters, but I also have some other that would have those glitters in complementary colors. In any case, I am not the one that would shy away from the glitter. LOL!
Plaid image I used is on Uber Chic - Pretty in plaid 2 stamping plate. I managed to collect quite a few stamping plates with plaid images, and now I have a hard time to decide which one of the images I want to use. First world problems... or they are collector problems... hmmm....
I decided to go with simplicity this time, and I used just one color - black, to compliment the glitters. Stamping polish is by B. Loves Plates - B. a Black Hole. I stamped different parts of the same image on my nails, to create more interesting look.
I seen my orthopedic surgeon today, and he is not happy with slow progress of my injured knee... that means at least another 4 weeks of the knee brace, which will bring me to almost three months of the brace and splint... not happy about it, but it is what it is. Now I have to wait for the MRI to see what is going on there.
As an insult to the wound, it is insane at work and there is barely a time to finish it all before end of the day. Plus side is that time just flies, and before you know it, it is end of the work day. I would take that over the day where you feel like time is standing still, and all you want to do is crawl out of your own skin.
Hope your week is going well.
Cheers!
