I received nice cross selectin of the products, which I will show you in a next little while.
I received 7 different loose powders/flakes from the store, and I already shown you one (silver foil), and today I have another one - Blue Foil Nail Flakes.
I started with black base, then I applied Orly - Bonder - rubberized base coat. Just before base coat was dry, I applied those gorgeous metallic blue flakes using one of the silicone tools I also got from Victoria.
Afterwards, I just rubbed it with the sponge applicator. When left like that, without the top coat, it was like a blue mirror. I tried several different ways of sealing them, even using the gel top coat, but as soon as I would apply anything over, it is like those layers of super thin flakes would separate and final effect would be this hammered metal. I loved the finish, but I wish I was able to on at least one of the swatches create that smooth, metallic look.
This color is just amazing! It is not a secret that I love saturated, jewel like colors, so this one is like made for me. So sparkly and so reflective!
Naturally, color and reflective properties reminded me of the water, so I picked the water images from Kads Min 026 stamping plate.
For stamping I used my palest blue stamping polish - Clear Jelly Stamper - 007.
In the end, I added some loose holographic glitters over the stamped image to mimic the reflection of the sun on the water. As you can see, full coverage of the flakes on all 10 nails was not enough for me, I had to add some more.
I really enjoyed this sparkly manicure, and I hope you will like it as much as I did.
Have an amazing, sparkly day.
Cheers!
