My next door neighbour has a huge maple tree in the back yard, and pretty much, half of the branches are in my yard and that also means that I get most of the silly leaves in my yard, together with million of seed pods. I even used some as a prop here, and almost a million is waiting to sprout somewhere in my yard. I have baby maple trees sprouting everywhere in my yard.
I decided to play on Monday blues, and have a nice contrast here, or at least I could of hope for the contrast...
I started with the OPI - Miss Piggy's Big Number.
This polish is also duochrome wannabe, and in the bottle you can see some purple on the edges, but all of that is gone on the nails. To cure that, and have some multichrome effect, I added a coat of 'Ard As Nails - Shamone on my pinky and thumb. Love that flakie topper that I received from Beautometry.com as a March winner of their nail art challenge.
Considering the millions of seed pods that landed in my yard over the years, I had to have one image of them here, and I found it on Creative Shop 57 stamping plate. I picked up image with gold polish, filled it in, but gold did not show at all. To fix it, I double stamped image with Esmaltes da Kelly - Kaa. Unlucky for me , I did not really lined up images... you know that depth perception issue I have from time to time...
Maple leaves image is from the plate I received from Beauty Big Bang, that I reviewed recently BBBXL-021. You know that there is 10% discount code - HEFER for anything in the store you can use.
I stamped leaved using Kaa, and Hit the Bottle - Let's go to the Peach, and Poison Apple.
All was topped with glossy top coat.
I am wishing you fantastic week, and honestly, I want it for myself.
Cheers!
