Let's go from the beginning. Beginnings are always the best!
I was in a mood for some texture polish too (you can tell I was really decisive about this whole thing), so I reached for my rarely used Sinful Colors - Denim & Bling collection - Kozmic. Love this soft pink textured glitter, and I applied it to my pinky and index.
On the rest of the nails, I am wearing China Glaze - Snow Way. China Glaze did amazingly well with those shimmery polishes that look like they are glowing from within.
I thought they would look marvelous together, and I was totally right.
Start was great, and now is the part where all started to unravel for me.
Mandala is not the easiest image for me. I love it on others, but when it is the time for me to use the images, I choke...
That prompted me to use overlapping mandala image form Uber Chic 22-03 collection.
Now, with such an soft base, I wanted to do something different, and here on the stage comes the foil, multicolored one...
I picked up the image using The Moyra - SF.02 (white), then I applied the foil... what the mess! Instead of color shifting mesmerizing image, I got mess, and you can barely see what was that all about...
To "fix" this, I used La Femme - Lilas, and it did improve to the point...
That was the reason why I went with the second coat of stamping, but I was still not happy - would you be?
All this was sealed with Moyra - SP Aqua top coat, so my foil would look nice.
I decided to stamp one more layer, and this time, I opted for the white. I used Hit the Bottle - Snowed in for stamping this final layer.
I did not add the top coat because I actually liked the textured look...
This manicure was heading to the fail folder as soon as I did that first layer, and no matter how many layers I added, this was no go.
Ah well, you win some, you loose some.
I hope that all of that mumbling made some sense to you, as I feel to sick to read and make it sound better.
Wishing you wonderful, healthy day.
Cheers!
