I started with olive green magnetic polish from Layla - 06 Golden nugget. I am not sure about that name though it looks more green than gold to me.
This particular polish came with straight lines design on the cap, so I borrowed wavy one from one of the others I have. Effect created is quite mesmerizing. It is hard to see from the photo, but as you move your hands up or down or left and right, it almost seem like pattern itself is moving around.
In this light, I did not mind the results, but I am not used to my nails being this plain - wearing just one polish... and I also received some new plates that I was itching to use...
Not knowing what will show against this polish, I stamped same design using black, silver and gold, and hehe -042 stamping plate.
Before top coat, black was the least visible. After top coat it popped out, and I actually like a black against this wavy design.
Of course I would include a close up photo of this manicure, I don't want to do it too often, but sometimes I just can't resist. Created effect by this polish also reminded me of my massage roller ball, and I thought it would be cute idea to take photographs holding it. I just get bored holding polish bottles, because I rarely use only one kind, and I never can decide which one to hold. We don't want to play favourites, so I am always on the lookout for new prop. Considering that my only surviving flower pot won't last me much longer. I have to find creative ways to take a photo of my nails... |
