I just love to see all of those greens together, and this screamed Spring to me, and I hope you will have that fresh vibe here.
Few days ago, I was playing on my Bliss Kiss - Simply Neat - Miracle Mat. I won this mat on Instagram contest, together with few other items from Bliss Kiss. One of the characteristics of this mat is that has raised border, and inside few raised circles that can contain many things- nail polish, dabs of acrylic paint, glitter, nail charms, rhinestones, and some water. I used this to practice my watermarble. Let's make this straight - I am marbling challenged. I did made few different marbles, for the contest that Bliss Kiss is holding on Instagram. Most of my marbles are quite 'abstract' like this one, but that did not stop me from using this particular for the manicure.
While playing with polishes, I was just grabbing the random ones off of my shelves, not really paying attention which ones would work, and which one will not - I learned that the hard way.
That did not stop me from wanting to use this on my nail.
On my middle, ring and pinky, I used Heroine New York - Sublime, beautiful, fresh cucumber green crème that applies like a dream. Two coats were enough for the full opacity.
On thumb and index finger, I used delicious green glitter by Esmaltes da Kelly - Robin. I applied two coats for full opacity, and this one dries slightly textured, so I applied top coat to smooth it out, and bring out more of the sparkle.
On my middle finger, I applied coat of yellow stopper, over which I applied my watermarble decal.
Over index and pinky I decided to do some stamping, and I used my newest Clear Jelly Stamper stamping plate CjS-46.
As a stamping polish, I used Messy Mansion - Forest, and I added some Hit the Bottle - Lucky Spark, but it was barely visible over bright base polish. On the other hand, Forest is my favourite green stamping polish, and I got it in Beautometry grab bag months ago.
I had fun in making of this manicure.
Salut!
