This one was for my soul. No wonder that I never have a chance to use up the stuff I purchase, when there is little time in between PR parcels... Not complaining, at least some of the stuff that comes into my home gets to be used right away.
My super pretty base for the today's post is Different Dimension - Cotton Candy.
Blue jelly base is full of color shifting aurora shimmers, and pink shift is amazing. If you check the macro shot at the bottom of the post, you can clearly see the pink to gold color shift.
Polish is on the sheer side, and if I knew that, I would use white base. On the swatch I am wearing 4 coats and no top coat, and as you can clearly see it is still pretty sheer.
This pretty base was asking for the pretty images, and I went with the jewellery like images from ZJoy-plus 008 stamping plate.
First I stamped using Hit the Bottle - Snowed in, then with Psycho Pink. All was topped with glossy top coat. This was so mesmerizing in person - on some angles, stamping would almost completely disappear. Really loved this soft stamped look.
Maybe my stamping color choices were too close to the base, but despite that, I truly enjoyed wearing this. Some days we really need something soft, something that help us blend into the background, even though this is not the polish that could easily disappear in any way.
This was classy and elegant look, that was in in-you-eyes kind of thing, but more subtle - you know it is there, and if someone really looks can see it. Have to admit it was more visible in person than it was captured by my camera.
It is Friday - YAY!
Wishing you a day that will feel short, so we can all start with the weekend.
Cheers!
