I found the images too cute.
I do have some London themed images, but they are too perfect, I wanted to preserve whimsical feel of this print. Ending you can guess... I went freehand all the way, and even though my freehand leaves lots to be desired, I am pretty happy with the result.
I think that I managed to capture the almost child like drawing of the print and transfer it on my nails...
Not that my skills are much advanced than those, LOL!
I started with pretty neutral colored base, one of my favourite light nudes by OPI - My Vampire is Buff. I love it so much that I have it couple of versions from other makers, and in two more from OPI. Once I posted a comparison shots, and was really mad at OPI for recycling the color and just giving it different name... it did not made color any different, but now I have a three bottles of the same polish...
Rest was done with the acrylic paint and fine brush.
I finished with Wet'n'wild matte top coat.
Little bit of whimsical London - one of the cities I want to visit and explore. I was once at the London airport catching the connecting flight to Canada... and that does not count. I never left the building, actually we barely made it to our flight.
Next time, I will plan to stay few days. Until that happens, I can dream and travel the globe from my armchair several times over.
Cheers!
