I was part of the collaboration with a books as a theme, and I went with Little Red Riding Hood, as this was one of the books many of us read as a children. Did you ever thought how actually dark fairy tales are? They were told / read to us before bed time, to relax us, but it is a little wonder that they did not gave us a nightmares and scared us for life! Maybe that is the reason that some generations are more resilient than the others.
As a base, I used Essie - Serial Shopper, one of the dozen or so polishes I purchased last month at Nail Polish Canada's sale event.
I am not much for the orange, but I am truly giving it a try, and this one looked interesting enough.
That was reason enough for the purchase. LOL! I truly do not need any excuses! Also, I was sold on the name, fits me to the 'T'. LOL!
Images used are on Cici & Sisi - Fairy Tales- CR 1804 stamping plate. This is one of the few acrylic plates I've have for a while, and love them, even though I use them so seldom.
I do love the way images pick up nicely, and they clean really nicely. No sharp edges to snag the cotton while cleaning, just a nice, crisp images. This particular company closed doors few years ago, so you will not be able to purchase those plates any more. I just wish I did more shopping last time I was at the site, but who knew they will close?
Fun fact - in fourth grade I was a Little Red Riding Hood in a school recital.
Maybe that is the reason this story stuck with me till this day.
My neck injections went well, and I just need to give it another day to make those work. Fingers crossed.
Have an amazing day everyone, wherever you are.
Cheers!
