We are our worse critics, and just because it this did not ended up the way I pictured it in my head when I started it, it is not necessarily the fail...
I will let you to be judge of that.
Super pretty base is by Never Mind Polish - Virgo.
On the swatch above, I am wearing 3 coats plus top coat to smooth out any uneven surface.
Now - does anyone else suddenly got a craving for the strawberry milk shake?
Image I picked today is on Lina - 4 Seasons - Spring 02 stamping plate.
Well, as soon as I seen this plate, first image captured my attention more than any other. Since second I seen it, I wanted to stamp this image in two colors.
For whichever reason, I decided to stamp the image in white, that kind of got lost over the polish, which I totally expected. Thing is, I wish I did it in black or grey or any deep, dark color, to be like a shadow against the light background.
Then, I used Esmaltes da Kelly - Kiki (hot pink) and A England - Fotheringhay Castle (olive green) and applied it on the image the way I wanted it, and swiped once - to prevent blending of the colors. I hoped for different results... not sure how different, but I loved some nails better than the other. I tried to match the part of the image that I stamped in white, and I succeded on 9/10 nails... of course Cindy was perfect!
To save the manicure, I added a little yellow dot in the centre of each flower.
All was topped with a glossy top coat.
Is this Yay or Fail? it is for you to decide.
Have a wonderful day.
Cheers!
