With this manicure I am continuing with reviews using items I received from Born Pretty Store.
Today, I will show you neon yellow stamping polish, BP-FS01 - Carry On, item #46659-1.
That may be the reason why I am hoarding all of the yellow and orange stamping polishes...
To test it, I decided to go neon all the way, and on my mid + ring finger, I am wearing super intense Picture Polish - Blue.
On rest of the nails I applied Carry On... It took two coats to full opacity, which made me pretty sceptical about how well this will stamp.
I did not test it against the white, because I suspected that my camera will completely wash out. On another note, it is pretty light color, so it would not show well over the white anyhow, but I did not tried - just my previous experience is talking here.
I decided to go with deliciously refreshing lemons, and this particular color scheme (or should I say whole shebang) is inspired by Princess dress... as you can see, you can get inspiration anywhere.
Image is on 2Joy - Plus 18 stamping plate, and I stamped image in opposite colors. Honestly, this came out better than I expected. I was so pleasantly surprised how well both polishes stamped!
For a split second I was considering making decals, and I am glad I did not.
This actually looked good just as is.
All was topped with glossy top coat.
Considering that this stamping polish needed a two coats for the full opacity, I was sceptical, but in the end, this yellow came through for me. As you can clearly see, polish picked up every single fine line, which is really great for the neon stamping polish. Neon pigment makes them to dry faster, which makes picking up fine images tricky. No problem here, which is added bonus.
If you manage to find something that is a full price on the Born Pretty site, make sure to use my code SHGK31 to save.
Have a wonderful day.
Cheers!
