We finally had some nice rain, and it was nice to see rain coming down nicely, not like few drops here and there, or as a downpour, but like nice refreshing rain.
It is amazing how noticeable is that days are getting shorter. Leaves already started to turn, but more due to severe drought than to fact that autumn is around the corner.
So here is one that is appropriate for this time of the year. Bright, sunny color suggest that Summer is still here (which truly is, at least according to the calendar), and fallen leaves suggest that Autumn is officially here in few short weeks...
As a base, I used Essie - Have a ball, pretty mustardy-green that is so fresh and timeless. Totally kind of color that I would like.
This polish was an impulse buy, but I am totally happy with my impulses. Color is greatly agree with my skin tone, and made me happy to see it on my nails.
Images used here are on Uprettego - Modern Graphic by Provocative Nails 01 stamping plate.
I love the terrazzo speckled image, and I used black, white and turquoise for stamping. This looked so pretty in person. Turquoise may not be everyone's first choice, but gave it really interesting look, and provided some welcome escape from monotony of other, "safer" color choices here.
I double stamped leafy images first with black, then with gold.
This was so pretty, I could not stop looking at my nails.
I am so ready for the weekend, and the fact that this is long weekend, makes it even better.
Have yourself a great day.
Cheers!
